My hand/wrist feels numb. please help?

ok, so about 2 hours ago i was tending to a campfire outside. as i was fanning it, i scraped my finger a little (it doesnt hurt and it doesnt look bad). then, i burnt my thumb on a piece of wood. a few minutes after that, my hand just felt really heavy and i couldnt hold it up with my wrist. i took a hot bath, but it didn't help. someone please help? im really worried and i have absolutely no idea what is happening. should i go the the doctor? its been almost 3 hours and it hasnt gotten any better. im really scared.
