Guitar strings shock me?

It might be your house current. Have an electrician check it out ASAP. Electric guitar ground wires are usually attached to the strings, I don't know why and I build guitars but don't wire them that way. Do not hesitate to have a professional inspect your house wiring, you can be killed easily if something is amiss in the house current!
