Behringer PA speakers not playing correctly?

i think they are the E series. For some reason the Horn is not playing therefore everything sounds muffled. Do i have somthing hooked up wrong? Any one know any online guides on how to hook up a simple PA system correctly? i have a qsc amp, peavey PV20 channel mixer and those behringer speakers. I have proper cables for all of it too...please help
